    SoapNET's "They Started on Soaps"
What do Jude Law, Russell Crowe, Nicole Kidman, Tobey Maguire, Kiera Knightley, Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger have in common? They all cleaned up their acts on the soap set before appearing on the big screen.

SOAPnet presents the fourth installment of its original one-hour special, "They Started on Soaps," featuring actors who started in daytime and then made it big in primetime and movies. Experts, including talent manager Michael Bruno and "Desperate Housewives" Executive Producer Charles Pratt Jr., discuss such celebrities as Teri Hatcher, Guy Pearce, Marcia Cross, Kylie Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia, and Emma Bunton (aka Baby Spice), and how their stints on daytime television helped propel their careers.

Plus, the special takes a look at big time guest stars who turned up on their favorite soaps, including Wayne Gretzky, Dr. Ruth, Whitney Houston and Jermaine Jackson, the Olsen Twins, Jesse Ventura and even Prince Charles.

"They Started on Soaps 4" will air Thursday, April 7 (11:00 p.m., ET/PT).

Note: I believe Eva will be included in this special as well.

    Eva moonlights with Pussycat Dolls
On April 9, while many people will be tuning their televisions to "Desperate Housewives," a lucky group of people will be getting up close and personal with one of the housewives in Vegas.

Eva Longoria, who plays Gabrielle, will headline the opening of the new Pussycat Dolls Lounge at Pure Nightclub in Caesars Palace. The Los Angeles-based burlesque show has had a history of guest stars such as Christina Aguilera strutting their stuff on stage, and it seems the addition of Longoria to the Vegas debut could open the doors for similar sightings in Sin City.

Jolie sizzles atop 'FHM' sexiest list
Actress and activist Angelina Jolie, 29, has been voted the sexiest woman in the world by readers of FHM, a men's magazine. Spears, who topped the "100 Sexiest Women" list last year, did not even make the cut for 2005.

FHM editor Scott Gramling blames the Spears snub on her marriage to Kevin Federline. "She was taken off the market. It broke the hearts of men 18 to 35."

Jolie, who was No. 2 last year, "is mysterious, outspoken, outlandish, very smart."

In the biggest comeback, Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher, 40, came in at No. 7; she last appeared at No. 55 in 2001.

Other ranked hotties: tennis star Maria Sharapova (No. 19); rocker Gwen Stefani (No. 30); the Olsen twins (jointly No. 32); Housewives' Eva Longoria (No. 38); and actress Roselyn Sanchez (No. 100).
